For anyone younger than 16, a parent must accompany you to open your membership. Membership is subject to approval and new members must meet the requirements of membership at Northern Birch Credit Union. Offer eligible for new members only. To receive the $75 bonus, the new student member must hold an active chequing and/or savings account for at least 3 months. The new student member will have the bonus funds automatically deposited into their chequing or savings account after 3 months of meeting the offer and membership requirements. The New Student Member Bonus $75 Offer may be combined with the New Member Referral Bonus Offer of $50 to the referring member only. In order for the referring member to claim the $50 bonus, they themselves must have an active chequing and/or savings account with Northern Birch Credit Union for a minimum of 3 months. A referred new member is eligible to receive the $50 referral bonus upon becoming a member (or $75 if they are an eligible student during the promotion period) but may not claim both the New Member Referral Bonus Offer of $50 and the New Student Member Bonus $75 Offer upon becoming a new member. They may in turn refer other new members and therefore then be eligible for a $50 referral bonus after meeting the above criteria. Other restrictions may apply.
If eligible, both the referring member and the new member will have the funds automatically deposited to their accounts after 3 months of each separately meeting the promotional requirements.
Student Loan/Line of Credit Bonus $75 Offer:
If a student loan application is approved and funded for an eligible member of Northern Birch Credit Union, this qualifies an eligible student for a $75 bonus. The student loan bonus applies for new and existing members who have been members for a minimum of 3 months and held an active chequing or savings account. This offer may be combined with the New Student $75 Bonus Offer. The bonus funds will be automatically deposited to their account after 3 months of meeting the promotional requirements.
